I feel that I should also state that I do use AI to help with my writing. AI is a new tool and like any tool, it can be used well or poorly. It's a new fancy hammer, but not everything is a nail. I write all of my first drafts myself, and I use AI to help me with editing, brainstorming, and overcoming writer's block. Because of AI, I've been able to dedicate more time to working on projects that I care about.
